Belief Home Ghana

What if you could make a difference in the lives of a group of orphans living in Ghana?

I’m not talking about “giving just a dollar a day”. I’m not trying to sell you on some scammy, overseas organization, where you have no idea where your money is actually going.

We’re talking about a chance to experience something that will combine travel and humanitarian work into one incredible adventure!

Why Ghana?

Meet my cousin, Mandie.

She’s a pretty extraordinary woman, who wakes up every morning determined to live her life to the fullest. She works tirelessly to improve her own life and the lives of everyone she meets.

A few years ago, Mandie took a trip to Ghana, as a public health volunteer, teaching health and personal hygiene to the local schools and communities.

She ended up teaching hand washing at Rising Star Orphanage and what she saw surprised her. The kids of the orphanage were happy and clean. They were healthy and even chunky. All the kids were dressed and attending school.

Mandie was so impressed, that she asked how she could further help them.

I’ll let Mandie take over from here…

Mandie, Founder of Belief Home Ghana

In Mandie’s Own Words:

I’m Mandie, the founder of Belief Home. Our mission is to build a new children’s home for the orphans of Rising Star Orphanage, to give them a place to thrive.

Their home was built in 1842 and it’s falling apart. If their home is destroyed, they’ll all be back on the street.

We won’t let that happen! And you can help!

There are so many ways to get involved.

You can donate.

You can “buddy up” and sponsor a child.

And for you travel enthusiasts, you can join us on a service trip to Belief Home in Dodowa, Ghana!

Children from Belief Home Ghana

This is going to be a truly once-in-a-lifetime trip! We’re going to serve the kids of Belief Home and the community of Ghana, but I promise you will get more than you can give.

We’ll serve, explore, and immerse ourselves in the culture of Dodowa. We’ll all be staying in a home together, having local meals catered by local women. When we’re not working, we’ll explore the markets, splash in a waterfall and hike to see the entire valley where we might catch a glimpse of the local gibbons.

This entire jam-packed week is August 24-31, 2019 and the cost includes everything in-country, from food to transportation, and all service projects and materials. All you need to do is get yourself there and we’ll take care of the rest.

Last day to join us is July 1st and full payment is due on July 15th. So don’t wait, join us at Belief Home Ghana!

Happy travels

A big thank-you to Mandie for sharing her love and this opportunity with us!
